Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc. (OES) has introduced a high precision, low profile, miniature size rotary table, the AR39-AH. This high precision miniature size rotary stage is just 35 mm (1.378 in.) high and the footprint including the standard 2-phase 1.8 degree stepper motor is only 58 mm (2.283 in) by 100.5 mm (3.957 in ). The table has a precision pattern of 6 8-M2x4L threaded mounting holes in the rotary table for fixtures or tooling, and an 8 mm (0.315 in) diameter through hole. Countersunk holes in the base allow for easy unobstructed integration into new and existing applications. The diameter of the AR39-AH Miniature Rotary Table is 39 mm (1.535 in.) and range of travel is a full 360 degrees of continuous rotation.
The table is driven by a 120:1 worm gear at speeds up to 75 degrees per second and has a resolution of 0.001 degrees (3.6 arc-sec) with a 10 micro-step per step stepper motor driver. The knob mounted at the back of the motor for manual adjustment, can be replaced with an optical encoder for precision position verification.
This low cost, low profile AR39-AH Miniature Rotary Table features a positional accuracy of 0.05 degrees (180 arc-sec) making it ideal for: Microscopy, laser positioning and machining, inspection, assembly, testing, and other critical applications. This black anodized table has a load capacity of 3 kg (6.6 lbs) and there is an indicator scale for visual sighting of the angle of rotation.
This stage requires a Motion Controller that can be ordered as a complete plug-and-play system with RS-232, USB, joystick, trackball, and keypad control.
