Nidec Corporation (NYSE:NJ) announced today it is donating 10 million yen to the international relief activity for Asian nations hit by the devastating earthquake and tidal waves that occurred off the cost of Sumatra, Indonesia, on December 26 last year. Details will be determined upon arrangements with the Company's local bases in the disaster areas. Additional donations are currently being discussed by the Nidec Group subsidiaries.
