NIPPON PILLOW BLOCK CO., LTD. We first started operations on the production of industrial pillow block bearing units for Japanese market in 1950. Since then FYH keeps a recognized position as a national top manufacturer using special processing techniques for pillow block bearing applications. We have accumulated a great deal of experience over the years and have developed an automatic line production for individual self aligning structure bearings, leading us to control and fabricate high quality metallic and ceramic bearings. In contrast to today commercially available bearings our products surface finishing state is beyond the Japanese Industrial Bearings Standards. Our bearings can fully cope with the severe conditions where high-speed rotation and heavy loads are required. Nearly 700 kinds of bearings and 300 types of housing made out of steel can be produced as stipulatedin the Universal Standards.Thus, several thousands kinds of pillow blocks are annually produced. In this way FYH is contributing with the bearing worldwide industry. The ceramic bearing (Si3N4) series which are internationally thought as the new generationof bearing has also been developed on our own terms, starting from the idea that ceramics can effectively substitute the steel balls running on the standard bearings. Their main feature is durability which is substantially improved, whereas adhesion between balls and races can be prevented by the combination of different kind materials of steel and ceramic, also termed as hybrid bearings. Furthermore, the bearing's maintenance is free even under aggressive environments. Therefore, ceramic balls are comprised within stainless-steel housing and exposed at high temperature and corrosive atmosphere. Our ceramic series have been adopted in the high technology industry, including integrated circuit (IC) manufacturing lines, furnaces for drying semiconductor devices, medicine manufacturing devices, chemical fiber manufacture devices, and so on. In those fields the ceramic series are currently taken an outstanding increasing demand. The goal of us is to continue R&D activities, in order to fabricate pillow blocks, which can keep on working with no maintenance even under the ultimate environments required for applications in the ocean and/or the space technology. Our ongoing research focused to improve the ceramic bearing products one is kept under this ideology.
